Long-term care at home

Home Care Services Program (HCSP) | NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA)

1. How it Works

People who need care can get it at home instead of moving into a nursing home. Depending on your need, you can get different types of care like a home nurse, house cleaning, physical therapy, and more.

  • All programs require that you be eligible for Medicaid.
  • Services are available for children and adults.
  • Emergency home care is also available.

2. Determine your eligibility

Home care programs have different eligibility requirements, but they all require that you must be eligible for Medicaid.

Take a short survey to see if you might be eligible for this or 30 other programs.
