How does Community Food Connection work?

Everyone is eligible for food assistance, regardless of immigration status or how much money you have. You might also be eligible for SNAP (food stamps) and other benefits from HRA .

November SNAP benefits are coming. Some households will have their full benefits starting November 9. Need food now? Find a food pantry or soup kitchen. Get additional support and resources for affected recipients.

How it works

There are ways to get free food quickly – get groceries from a food pantry, or a cooked meal from a community kitchen. Use the Food Help NYC map or call 311 to find your closest food pantry and community kitchen.
